After moving to the United States (US) in the early 1990’s, he continued his educational success earning his Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering. Since obtaining his master’s, he has received many accolades in the engineering industry. He holds LEED AP credentials and is a 10-year long member of the US Green Building Counsel (USGBC). Founded in 1993, the USGBC provides third-party verification for green buildings, promotes sustainability in building design, and is best known for its rating systems that are used worldwide for green homes, buildings, and neighborhoods.

He possesses deep knowledge of his field, which is one of several specialties within the discipline of civil engineering.
